Sam Rossi - Conservation Associate
Sam's eagerness to improve environmental conditions and collaborate with community members has brought him to serve with Butte County Resource Conservation District at the Northern Sierra Site through a partnership with the Sierra Nevada Alliance called SNAP - Sierra Nevada AmeriCorps Partnership.
Sam will spend the next eleven months working towards watershed restoration, watershed education and outreach, volunteer recruitment, and resource attainment goals. Sam is excited to develop his professional skills, while combining his experience with his ability to be a concise hard worker to make positive contributions to Butte County’s unique and resilient natural resources and communities.

UCCE Butte County 4-H Clubs and Butte County Resource
Conservation District are partnering in the production and selling of nesting boxes to farmers, rancher and land owners.
All boxes are built and painted by Butte County 4-H club members. The nesting boxes meet the specifications required by the NRCS conservation programs.
